What is the heart of the district? By reports its supposed to be Waterton and I found a Democrat who'd been mayor there. I meant Congressmen....not local representation. BTW Watertown is probably the most 'liberal' area of the district.

If It Were Done When 'Tis Done, Then 'Twere Well It Were Done Quickly [Mark Steyn] I don't like to say I told you so, but I've been saying for months now that the trick is to drag this thing across the finish line with 50.0000000000001 percent of the vote as soon as possible. From my "Happy Warrior" column in NR back in July: Obama believes in "the fierce urgency of now", and fierce it...

In the "Inside Story of the Ft Hood shooting" there is something that we haven't seen anyplace else....Who was this guy? >>>>> • Tuesday 4pm It may have been the first, small clue that an apparently ordinary week at the world's largest army base was about to become something horrifically different, when neighbours saw Major Nidal Hasan escorting a visitor into his flat. >> But it doesn't work well for system design. Or a lot of other things. The problem with compromise is that nobody gets what they really want, and sometimes, the compromise is so severe that it is counterproductive. I believe that's what happened with this legislation. Strangely, though, the Ds weren't negotiating or compromising with the Rs. The Ds were haggling with themselves. This skin-of-the-teeth win would...

What's that got to do with Obama creating the highest bank failure rate since 1992? That was Bush Steve. It's the Bush depression that began in '07. If not for Obama you wouldn't have a job. Say a prayer for Obama before you go to bed tonight.

RE: It's just a matter of time before we're reading about this guy going jihadi on us. It is a shame political correctness will kill us. If you hear "Allahu Akbar", take that person down. Ask questions later..

Newt is very controversial imo he hurts the party more than helps. i believe this latest screw up by him, is a good example of how he thinks getting control over house is most important.. but it doesn't do a bit of good if those are all liberal votes. It will still be more bills we do not want, more spending, etc. if a third party is the answer lets get on with it.
