The market internals were all ugly on Thursday while total volume expanded on the downside. Decliners outnumbered advancers by a 5 to 1 ratio on the NYSE and by an 11 to 3 ratio on the NASDAQ. Over 90% of the volume was on the downside on both marketplaces.

Fidelity Select Funds (45) This list includes 42 Select funds plus SP-500, FBNDX (Investment Grade Bond), and FRESX (Real Estate). SP-500 and FBNDX are included for comparison. Real Estate is like a sector fund. There are 18 Strong fund, 13 Neutral funds, and 14 Weak funds. Answering my own question, I just received Jack Bowers recommendations (a new Fidelity Service provider for me). In the VIP system he has made changes for August as follows: VIP Balanced = 30% and VIP Freedom income = 70%. This is for his income model which is where I want to be for the time being until we see what the election will bring. I will dabble with about 20% of my M.Mkt. total ...
