Jeff Christian was on FSN this weekend. He said that now that India has established the model with the IMF, he expects other CB's will be able to use that as a template to get their deals done. Sri Lanka was second in line, but will not be the last. Said that India's purchase represented less than one half of one percent of their foreign exchange reserves, so...not really meaningful in terms of PF diversification but will be seen in...

hello seeker, for own planning purposes, i am figuring the current 63-years in progress fiat money inflation fraud (start date 1946, when wwii ended) will run for between 7-15 years, ending in thorough enough systemic cleansing and reset lasting over perhaps 12-18 months of darkest interregnum (assuming no global war), and then the next iteration of fiat money inflation can get under way. we convert our hoarded gold and incubated energy into...

4. Our first challenge in using the Framework will be the transition from crisis response to stronger, more sustainable and balanced growth, consistent with our goals of sustainable public finances; price stability; stable, efficient and resilient financial systems; employment creation; and poverty reduction. While we will continue to provide support for the economy until the recovery is secured, we also commit to develop further our...

Ryan. <Currency crisis> would be consistent with an increase in inflationary expectations and drive silver AWA gold and other commodities higher. Actual increases in inflation would follow with the usual lag time. Iso

I think we're still some time away from when the public gets involved with gold/silver, but one friend recently put a million dollar biz up for sale - said "it's over". Between the economy and taxes he's just churning dollars. He doesn't "get" what gold'z all about.

marcos, I've got a cousin who bought gold at the high in 1980. Got him on "watch". Also, NO family members have bought gold/silver despite my subtle hints over the last 5 years, so when they do, all kinds of red flags and alarms will go off. Cheers!

Is a stock worth 100 earnings? Is a NY apartment worth $10K/foot? IMO as far as money and markets go there is nothing more important to world finance as what gold is worth. I buy gold to make money as it is a huge bull market. The fact that others view it as "insurance" or whatever they want is "irrelevant". The fact is that more and more people and companies and countries want it and ...

Edited a bit there ... following that encounter, we did discuss gold some, and he homed right in on his central point, 'You're not one of these permabull goldbugs are you?' ... or words to that effect, something like he really wanted me to say gold could go down some days ... i nodded wisely and said oh yes, verily, for i have seen it come to pass, then moved on to look for the people i ...
