I have a copy of the first pressing of the first Flaming Lips album, "Hear it Is", on white vinyl. I love colored vinyl. It's another one of those things that you can't do with CDs.

I just remembered that this is an unusually long record... 24/25 minutes per side... for loud, rock material.
Is there a well-mastered "wide cut" somewhere out there?
Or is the CD (or tape!?) the only way to go in the circumstances?
I have the first, mini-album replica Virgin CD. However impressive it sounds when you first put it on, I can never decide if the fatigue I get from it...
