Great, thanks again! I will order the projector ones. I am after 5k as I want a crisp white light with little blue, 6k was a tad too blue for me so 5k should be perfect. Secondly, how big are the normal ballasts...huge? Worth going slim?

Welcome to the forum. I got Vag-tacho and it didn't work with my 51 plate Mk1, although some people have got it to work. Other OBD tools are available, just search for SKC and loads pop up. I ended up taking mine to Ted Johnson's in Barnsley (don't know if it's near you) and they coded the new keys in. They can't give out the SKC now as the car needs to be connected to Seat/VAG HQ. Hope ...

Well.... according to Parkers... http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/equipm...aspx?model= 811 The difference is the SE has air con and SX doesnt... BUT... I have an SX and it DOES have aircon! I still think it's what I posted in the last thread. Different (better!) alloys, silver fascia around radio etc, & body coloured bumpers.

My view... get one! I got mine for £3K with 103K on the clock and it's spot on. I've had it remapped and a few other tweaks too! I've got a 5yr and a 2 yr old and they think it's great (they've called it the beast 'cos they they like the speed!!!) Insurance/Tax wise - brilliant. Better than my old car even with the declared mods! Have a search and see what you can do!! Enjoy!

You need quite a tourqey bench grinder to use a proper polishing wheel I'd 180, 320, 400, then the 3 stages of polish and mops....should come up like a mirror then.

I am just about to take the plunge also, can anyone answer this? I read a post in the MK2 sections and it said that the H7R only lights up 1/2 the headlamp and does not produce much more light over OEM with 'better' bulbs in. Will the car fail the MOT test if not fitted with H7R's and H7's instead?

I had a few of my old cars wheel arches roled but i think you find the leon can accomodate big wheels with a silly drop. Ive hada feel aroiund the arch and theres not much there to roll. How low are you thinking of going?

Yes, chances are you'll run a bit rich (worse fuel consumption) and throw a fault code, which will give you a check engine light. if you want more dump sound, either get an open cone filter or a dump valve like the Forge split-r or the Turbosmart dual-port BOV. A Forge 007P and an open cone filter sounds plenty loud without having any running problems.
