Lots of golf have heated windscreens as people at work were saying why was I de-icing my screen they though ibiza had them too, as if! Alot of cars still ahve them so can't be that bad. My windscreen was frozen on the inside this morning! What about the heated mirrors then never heard of them cracking like the rear screen?

i would swap brakes if there was time...... 100w main beams are out and i have a spare 17" FR alloy with excellent Dunlop tyre too. no marks on it to put in for sale section shen i get round to it

yea if someone has changed the headunit they may not of plugged the aux in to it. However, if it is the standard one (alana) just change the source to AUX and press play

i would have thought the longer the MK5 cupra's are out for the more the more of the MK4's that'll creep into the dealers, and the prices will be cheaper too

Tried aquarium silicone.... hasn't worked, don't know if it's too cold!
Edit:- 18:10 04/12/09 - It seems to have stuck ok now, just not evenly all round.
Certainly doesn't feel like it'll fall off any time soon.
Tried removing the pins on the top of the grill to take it out and get the job done properly but just couldn't ...

To be honest mate, I don't think going for a width of 215 would make any diff! Possibly going to a profile of 45 would make a slight diff Just having a look on the net, Google etc and will post anything I find!

u need mechanics tools, big torque like screw thing rite in the middle under the airbag, dont think the full steering wheel has to be removed to fit new airbag but unsure

Hi CarlosSeat2.0, if you just take the cases off the back of the lights,
then drive around for a while, they will clear pretty quickly. Then simply
put the cases back on, and they should stay clear from then on. Hope this
helps mate.

Not sure why he said you'd be "Better Off" with 17's, Maybe it'd look better but your probably going to be looking at a lower profile tyre which means increased road noise.
