hey i was wondering what the rules are for towing a car on a trailer, i have a leon tdi 110 (chipped ...humm) so power shouldnt be an issue, and im not going to be doing mega miles 10-15 at the max (i hope) i passed my test in 2004, what is the law on towing a car on a trailor the cars will probably be untaxed/mot'd or would it be easier to source a cheap beavertail? I would never do that after once sitting outside a shop I worked in and the road flooding and people just carried on driving then they suddenly all started breaking down. So I went to go move my car from behind the shop and some tosser parked his car in the alleyway and blocked our cars in and ended up flooding a really nice MR2! Sounds like you were lucky then!

After a delay of about a year, the council finally got to fixing the roughcast on my parents' house this week. They stripped half of the old stuff off last year, but somehow the job then got cancelled by their contractors, so it's taken ages to get it back on again. What an easy life they have though. They turn up before 9, sit in the van until 9 and have a break, get working until 10....
