Planning File Entry -...

Hi Sabitha MDRE verifies the consistency of the entries in table MDVM (="MRP planning file"). In some situations table entries can be missing, wrong or obsolete, and then MDRE needs to be executed. If you run it for the first time, you will have to create selection variants. You can also check SAP note 205681. It give some more information. JohnnyB

Dear emiliano, regarding your question "How to confirm a production oder without confirming activities?" - I would recommend CO15 .. With CO15 you just confirm the production order - not the activities! Regarding you other comments: ourselfs are using CO11(N) with milestones aswell and there are misc. option available to you problem: * usually milestones are used to minimize your afforts regarding confirmation. Hello guru! This situation: Unit assemblage consists of 100-1000 details. А. Occurrence of a problem of an overload of capacities is possible? Because manufacturing of all details will be carried by system for a moment at once before assemblage. Especially if all details have to become in one shop. For example, end-product delivery is planned for March, 20th, term of assemblage of 10 days. 9 March the shop overload becomes in hundreds...

If MRP never ever ran for some materials, they might be missing the planning file entry. See if MD20/21 give you any clues. If that is the issue, you might have to run MDAB for the entire plant.

Hi there I think you will have to use 2 different list id's and define it in OPK8 depending on MRP controller. But as long as the forms are not completely different, it is best (from my experience) to use one form and rather put some logic in the print program and/or form in order to differentiate.
