It's par for the course these days.... Some Buyers really take the piss.... Buy items and then take days to pay!!! I've sold 10 item on auction in 2 days 3 buyers have backed out and only 2 others have paid.... Gets right up my sodding nose... Why Bid to win and then not pay... But it has to be said there are some really nice people on there too... Like the guy who bought a set of my calipers for his Iso Grifo.... I should be used to...

Received the following ( unsolicited) e-mail today. Unfortunately we don't have a spare one other wise I would have chucked it in the back of the car and whipped it over to them tomorrow afternoon!
We get a few 'scammy' type e-mails but I can't see the point of this. Anyone else had anything similar or any thoughts as to what the idea is. Just a begging letter perhaps?

Sportline vans are a familiar 2.5 inline 5tdi with 174bhp on tap through
the front wheels. A mate of mine has one and its got a remap as well so
circa 200bhp and it struggles for grip in all but top gear. Off the mark
they are useless, but in gear acceleration is quite scary for a van.
