Right, I've received the solution to the centre light issue and it'll work a treat. Will get some from the manufacturer, current ones are black but I'll ask for white and see where we get to. Pictures of the installation and night illumination this week I hope

yup mine was binned too....carpet is dry in the garage but unlikely it will ever be back in the car now...shes going to be a track car and they dont need flooring lol

thanks Andy¡¡ i understund perfectly it i have -0´5bar whem the car it is On and stoped and -0´7bar whem the car it is On and of course runing without thortle about this VDO for that price are georgeus ,but if i can.. i would like the dial face in BAR meter...but aniway after all it is the same with PSI

FYI you can get the exact same butyl sealing tape for the rear lights from CBS for loads cheaper than the stealer charges mate

The 'Vision' series VDO gauges also come in a 0-30psi gauge with no vacuum if that was someones preference.., but my point is that they would seem to be the perfect gauge to make an OEM face for.. They are not expensive - $30US + shipping from egauges.com who ship internationally. The bezel and needle are a perfect match for the gauges below the AC controls. And they are already have a backlit dial including an illuminaled needle so...

Only thing wrong with the VDO gauge is that it is only 25 PSI, would have prefered 30PSI

hey friend¡¡ do you know exactly how many negative boost we have to have for know if all the boost vacums are OK without any air leak?? of course with the engine ON and without thortle -0´4? - 0´8 ?

Doug @ MRC has done this, I have Recaro Speeds, they all use the same subframes, it's just the sidemounts that bolt on the the seats that are the difference, teh side mounts have the bolt spacing for teh subframes...

I've just changed the bulbs behind the dials on the heater control... this morning but I didm't look to see if you can get access to the switches but heres how to take off the front panel to have a look... Pull off all 3 dials with a pair of plyers, undo the two screws behind dial one & three, just a flat screwdriver to ease off the panel and thats it.... As I said i din't look any ...

mk2 golf ones are relatively easy to come by but are different to the s2 ones in design and subframe fitment. Corrado ones will fit in the mk2 but the seat will be slightly lower. s2 ones do crop up from time to time and still reach very good money, imo too much money. There are better, more comfortable and supportive seats around for far less money, however for the oem+ look you cant beat ...

Meguires APC (All purpose cleaner), no nasty shiney dash (which attracts more dust!) Basically, avoid anything silicon based
