Kinda.

2001 (it's been way too long), La Dolce Vita , Casablanca , The Godfather , The Godfather Pt. II (been way too long), Raging Bull ...many others. The story of my life is basically movies I need to rewatch (and, of course, watch for the first time). I don't consider myself very well-educated film-wise (or literature-wise). I hate feeling left out.

Hey, I love the Hartley quote.

I like films that entertain me and see them as the best. Seems to be somewhere in the middle and much closer to the popcorn side than the criterion side. I think some films that are very good aren't quite as rewatchable as some other films I would rank lower. Isn't that strange? Overall rewatchability is playing into how high I rank films more and more.
