It usually has something to do with the routers. I've DMZ'd my Wii on my router, and still have issues sometimes connecting with people. I'm not a real techie guy so might word it wrong, but some routers and protocols block some of the ports that need to be allowed through for connections. And it really doesn't matter what console it is, because the console isn't the issue. Check out this post on slhb.org - you might...

Serious Issue - Band File...
Published (2009-11-30 16:33:00)
Masem: That is exactly what's happening with my band, only on the PS3. I still think it's somehow tied into the challenges and/or DLC (maybe it has something to do with the 100 song limit on the Infinite Challenges, constantly swapping out old songs for new ones, I don't know). Anyway, more and more threads are appearing on here with the same issue. I played with someone a few weeks ago who said that they experienced the glitch,...

World Tour band glitch
Published (2009-11-28 08:19:00)
There are a number of threads with this problem, and they are popping up more and more frequently. Here's my thread (which I'm directing everyone to since there is a kind of work-around on it): http://www.rockband.com/forums/showthread.php?t=169011 Don't hold your breath on an answer from HMX, though. My first post was on 10/15 and they have yet to even acknowledge it. Also, while the work-around will get people into your band,...

Guitar Broken...just blinks
Published (2009-11-29 19:39:00)
Why do people think that these instruments should last forever? Every system, console, and computer I've ever had went through peripherals. Whether it was joysticks, controllers, a mouse, keyboard, or an instrument. Things break, especially when they are used a lot.

Band Hero drums on PS3 with RB2
Published (2009-11-29 15:29:00)
Well here is the not so helpful response from Activision: "Response (Thien Nguyen) - 11/29/2009 08:41 AM Hello, Please note that the Guitar/Band Hero instruments were only designed to be used on the Band/Guitar Hero games. The instruments may work with third party titles, however Activision cannot guarantee or provide support for the use of the instruments with third party titles." This is becoming a joke...

I am having problems with lego rock band freezing when i go to play crocodile rock in wembrick stadium. Every single time, after the cutscene, the game freezes. there are no scratches on my disk, and I have read of others having the game freeze in the EXACT same spot in the game. This makes it impossible to continue the story.
And I cannot return the game as it is not scratched...
Does anyone...

You're not missing anything. When you play, the drum sound will only come from the song being played, not from you hitting the drums.
If you're having a hard time hearing the drums when playing a song, you can turn up the instrument volume in Options. Or turn down any of the other options to make the instruments seem louder.

You are going to have to start by opening up the guitar and seeing what is wrong and what type of switch you are dealing with. If Ihad to guess I will say its a cracked reed switch. But thats just a WAG.
Often a dying battery can cause less sensitive frets. Otherwise I would check for dirty contacts.

I purchased the game brand new and have read about the redemption code. And the manual does not have it on the back of it.
Have previously register at ea support and went through the process of successfully resetting my password.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
I purchased the game from the U.K and I'm in Australia.

As my title states, I'm trying to find out (unsuccessfully so far hence this post) if the new drum kit that ships with Band Hero will work with RB2 on the PS3? I missed the boat with the GHWT drums. As you know we don't have RB2 here in Oz, so I imported it from the UK and got a relative to purchase the key for me to convert all my RB1 songs to RB2. Would appreciate the advice.
Cheers in ...

Hi,
I just wondered if anyone knew whether the microphones were universal? I have the guitars and drums for both the ps2 and wii systems, but only mics for the ps2. However, both systems plug the mics in with a USB so I'm wondering... are they compatible?
Thanks,

my Xbox has broken lately, so I'm playing with my HDD on my friends Xbox360 but the DLC that i've dowloaded on my own console, the songs are unavailable. The message says: the saong data you were accessing has become unavailable, and the game cannot proceed without it. Your game session has restarted. Does that mean that I lost all of my DLC for good because my console broke or is it because it's...

I'm trying to figure out if Band Hero will be compatible with Rock Band (1). I'm getting mixed answers on this question and my daughter really wants this for Christmas b/c it has Taylor Swift songs on it. I'd rather not have to buy more instruments so any help or answers would be appreciated!

Wait a little while and then try it again. Others have reported the same problem, but then it worked a little while later.
