That sounds a good idea. Never thought of NJ. Getting tough is the only way to deal, last dealer I went to gave me full retail price on all the goodies, but took 1500 off the msrp, like he was doing me a favor.

and love it. Seems to me you have more control of the vehicle with a manual. Also, probably better gas mileage, although slush boxes have gotten much better recently. Big thing is less potential maintenance, especially if you plan to keep the car over an extended period. There are two things to think about when comparing the coupe to convertible - the convertible is noticeably heavier which should be considered if you are a performance guy....

Thanx guys, I agree re the 6M, I get bored of driving the auto, as it seems to distance me from the act of driving itself. Although I like to think performance is important to me, I can't imagine 400 lbs being a noticeable weight deterrent with 300 hp. The vert just adds that "special" feeling, which is just, well, cool. The price differentiation seems to be dropping at bit. On the used market, I didn't think I could find...

I had a couple of second thoughts about the color, since it often appears washed-out in the commercials that BMW is running on TV. But, when my son came around the corner at SeaTac Tuesday to pick us up, I saw the car immediately. It's very unusual and without the front license plate (that unfortunately will have to change) it was very noticeable in the crowd. BTW, Black and grey are the colors in Europe. They're really missing...

INTERMITTENT LIGHT BULB ICON
Published (2009-11-23 02:50:00)
The dashboard in my car is intermittently showing the yellow bulb light icon. But there is no burnt out lamps that I see. It tends to go on especially now during the cold weather. Should I have this checked out or it will just go away and I shouldn't worry about it? What causes this? Anybody else experience this? -Roy

Also, the performance tires on the sport package will imitate a luge on snow. They are extremely dangerous under winter conditions. The BMW dealer had me sign a release form saying I was aware of the danger prior to taking the car.

I happen to be looking at an aftermarket warranty for my RS 4. I posted a thread on the Audizine forum regarding this topic and received pretty positive feedback about Fidelity but very negative feedback about US Fidelis.(lots of info on the web) I am probably opting for the company sold at my local dealership (Pro-Tek) which the service advisors work with regularly. I spoke with them at ...

be able to give you the last word on this question. Why not give them a call tomorrow? This is essential anyway because each dealer has the ability to give you their own price. So then you'll have a dollar value to factor in on your decision for your area.
