I've got dt swiss ex5.1 with hope pro 2 hubs. They haven't seen a lot of hard action, but I've got problems at the moment with loose spokes. Ok, so it may be down to the build quiality, but my halo freedoms have seen a lot more action and I've had no problems with them at all! I ride xc/trails by the way. I'm not saying the freedoms are the best, but I'd be wary of the DT's for jumping and...

Trailrakers are out and out axle deep gloop tyres, i wouldn't want to try and race on them. For a bit of slush most hardcore multi-use tyres are great. I'd say the rampage unless you really want traction in the gloop in which case the mud-x, save the 1.8" trailrakers for when you're rear derraileur is underground! ---------------------------------------------- 456! silly ...

If you're looking to spend that much on lights then Tiger lights and Lumicyclesystem 3 get some good write ups and can be had for that budget if you spec right. Not tried either but am looking at getting one or the other myself. '09 Giant Anthem X1. Boardman Hybrid Pro Ltd.

Noticed that myself mate. Been in the hunt for a couple of Endura items of clothing lately and both Wiggle and CRC have a crap selection from them. I'm having to dip my toe into less well known websites as a result! 2007 Giant Reign 2006 Specialized Hardrock

Hello, I also own 2009 Genesis Altitude (white frame colour) and it doesnt have the rack bolts on it but all the 2010 Altitude's models do have them. I believe from word from mouth that the early version of 2009 didnt have them but the latest models of 2009 started to have them on the frames. My bike pic is in the rider's bikes page.

Normally the factory wheelsets are about equal to handbuilts in cost, possibly more so.It`s just that Merlin offer such good value! Hand built ones tend to be easier to service and source spokes for,if you stick to tried and tested components. You haven`t mentioned budget, but I`d say up to £150 would get you some Merlin built XT hubs with Mavic 719 or Stans Flow rims, which would be a...
