QAS PLAY OFF FOR 3RD DESPITE WIN Wednesday 16 December 2009 A sparkling knock by Queensland Academy of Sport batsman Chris Lynn and an effective team bowling performance has just not been enough to put the QAS into the Final of the Futures League Twenty20 series in Melbourne tomorrow. That's probably a reasonable way to go about it, otherwise the system is slanted towards the batting team.

Watson should be thinking himself a lucky man, Gayle could have punched his lights out. Just because he took a big wicket doesn't mean he can go on like some one that is retarted.

What? He was excited because he got one of the best batsmen in the world out. Why is everyone trying to sanitise the game beyond all boredom thresholds and cutting down any signs of individualism and character?

So why is Jardine such a villified captain for merely making Bradman a mere mortal? Jardine spotted a weakness in Bradman that no one else could and exploited it. He's villified and despised when in reality the greatest captain and exposed Bradman. Yet at the same time when Larwood and Voce are villians we laud captains Llyod and Richards and applaud fast bowlers Roberts, Holding, Garner, ...
