QUOTE (Censport @ Nov 25 2009, 12:39 PM) They were prosecuted for breaking the law. If they had defrauded ACORN, ACORN would have sued them. Sue them for what? They were on minimum wage and are now probably jobless. Or in the jail. They falsified registration cards. They were paid, by ACORN, to do work they didn't do. They therefore defrauded ACORN. QUOTE (Mr. Naron @ Nov 25 2009, 02:22 PM) Okay, Anton. Don't read his book. Just move the goal posts around. And this, of course, is why I told you to go challenge him. I haven't the faintest desire to lay out all of Vox's predictions and defend them against your goal post moving. Here's what I'll do for you: write up your contentions about how the economy tanked and/or why the Austrian School is...

QUOTE (AntonToo @ Nov 25 2009, 10:04 AM) Where am I running?? Can you even respond to what I told you? For the third time - If he is in fact an economist, can you show me his work on this topic or him making the prediction or at very least him taking credit for predicting housing bubble and finance failures. And please don't link me to some media intro site - just text will do. I gave a (prominent) example of a well...

I usually wear jeans or sweats but I think I am going to buy some camos since our fashion expert thought that the guy wearing them looked better than any one else in that tape. Ya know, most of the people I see would rather work than draw unemployment. Then there are a few when they exhaust say "Well I better get a job now". I have never heard any of them say they prefer red ink, hey maybe we can put these politicians out of work and let them Accept More Red Ink in Exchange for Benefits.

QUOTE (Trav1u @ Nov 24 2009, 10:06 PM) Of course the knuckle dragging Neanderthals would disagree with President Obama showing respect and humility to other world leaders. Is this comment about us, who pay for you to post on this site, a sign of respect I'm sorry, but the leader of a country bows to no one. It is a sign of inferiority as well. A handshake puts you on equal ground. A one sided bow says you are inferior....

Ok, magazine love aside: In what parallel universe does the Pesident of the United States dress like he's at Starbucks while at the Whitehouse??? Did you ever see any other President dress this casual while at the WH?? I could see if he was inside the residence, or at Camp David, but not outside the WH in public view.

QUOTE (Mr. Naron @ Nov 25 2009, 11:12 AM) I know. The fact is, and our boy should have come across this in his research, Vox is also a columnist for WND and HAS A BOOK OUT ON THE SUBJECT. A book praised by none other than Jonah Goldberg, a fact which will no doubt further convinced our boy not to go toe to toe with Vox. I'll share a few articles with you, but not with him. He might learn something. I'm more...

(IMG: http://www.dnronline.com/photos/washingtonprayerwe b_6903.jpg ) Wow, Mr. Know It All. That image is jamming on my heartstrings. I usually tell people I grew up in Manhattan, but I actually spent the first seven years of my life in northern New Jersey. For several years after my mother and I moved to the city, my dad stayed in the Garden State. Sometimes, during winter, we'd go on...

Problem with national organizations like ACORN is they are franchises and thus can claim the national office is immune because they weren't coordinating or acting with the same intent as the franchise. Thus this hydra becomes difficult to kill.

QUOTE (Crawdaddy550 @ Nov 26 2009, 10:36 AM) Crashing a state dinner at the White House apparently takes a security breakdown as well as some kind of nerve.
