Hi all, I just received my win7 upgrade dvd and was thinking of a clean install but then i thought a dualboot would be better because i still have a spare partition of 117GB. There is some thing wrong with the drive, more likely to do with the integrity of the storage on the platters. You could try a diagnostics tool if one is available for your drive from WD. Yes, you can download Handbrake ( www.handbrake.fr ). They have versions for the Mac (intel & ppc), Windows (2000/XP/Vista), Linux and Linux 64-bit. You can also d/l the source code. I know the Mac version works. I don't know about the others.

download xbmc to a cd for the pc and boot with it. At least that is a free starter point.

If you have had more than one "HP" printer hooked to one machine can get the drivers confused. I would remove the drivers for both printers. (Do not remote the ports!!)
