No mocking from me... I have always preferred the MK fighting series, for some reason. The characters are so extreme and often cheesy, but they have identities that I find easy to distinguish between, as compared to many other games where the characters kinda blur together and look the same to me, or just don't have a hook. And I prefer the fighting mechanics more in MK games. However, I did enjoy Deadly Alliance, but haven't got...

I would hope that a majority of people who would dare call themselves 'geeks' would know who Ray Harryhausen is. Geekdom didn't begin with the internet. There's a heritage of geekiness that goes back many decades.

Just finished Ninja assassin (cool movie, really liked it. Really over the top though and the blood is obviously CG but great CG, good acting, and a deep plot, are not why one goes to see it) Also watched Men who stare at goats, (didn't really like it but I feel this is the type of movie that you really can't rely on other peoples opinions I can see certain type of people liking this movie.
