Go to a junk yard and wait for someone driving an old car (still running) in, and buy it for as little as possible before ...

Weight due to materials. Personally, I've never understood the issue of reducing the weight since it is held down quite firmly by the belts (and hopefully stays there), so the contact pressure is far in excess of the device weight....in other words, it is not 'unsprung mass' on the neck like a helmet. And BTW.... 5W-50 and a F350 dually (inside forum joke)

Well, that looks like as good a reason to give the camera a try! I was looking at the Hero wide angle in std and hi def, but at half the price and has a handy monitor screen (what I didn't like about the Hero) I think I'll give it a try. The spec sheet doesn't show a tripod mount on the camera, but they offer a small tripod, so must assume the 1/4 X 20 female is in the body. Thanks ...

I know a lot has been posted on this subject, yes I searched and read a lot of posts, including the very long one on the Pelican Parts list-serve. If I change from Mobil1 15-50, would these be appropriate oils: Amsoil series 2000 20-50 Racing Oil Joe Gibbs Racing Oil XP6 20-50 If using Joe Gibbs and it has less detergents, how often would I need to change oil? thanks Dave
