There is a great trade-off with the horribly ugly 996 headlights. They make for a remarkably cheap car for us. Seriously, we get a $50,000 car for $20,000 because the headlights are so terrible and we don't have to see them from behind the wheel. That's a great deal in my opinion.

Does it have to stay in the driveway? Wow, that is low miles! Congrats. People are afraid of low mile cars, but I think the experience of driving in an almost new car, still feeling tight and new, is worth the risk! Ok, I have to ask... why do you want to do this? There is a reason the spoiler deploys. Also, I am pretty sure that wire harness is for the Aero kit rear deck like on my car and will remove power from the spoiler so it will not work, you also will not get a warning light.

From my experience (with several 944's and a Boxster), the Zimmerman's are a good way to go. Less expensive than OEM, and I believe the only difference is the anti-rust coating on the hats.
