We have to schedule regular checks of our intakes during the Fall because of leaves collecting. The crevice tool on a vacuum is the simplest solution!

I had same codes, cleaned the MAF a few times and reset the codes. In stop and go traffic, the codes would pop back on every few days. Once it started to cool down, with a cold engine, it started to hesitate and backfire. I quickly changed out MAF and everything has been fine for 9 months now.

How do you intend to get this installed? Will Crutchfield be able to provide you with the necessary plugs so that it's " plug and play"? Or will you need to hire someone to cut wires?

won't include the exhaust system or intake.
i'm not sure if it even includes sensors.
it should come with pulley's and everything else tho, fuel rails, etc.
all you should need to do is connect to your exhaust, connect your fuel lines, accessories and then fill her with fluids.

I feel like I have come full circle. My first Porsche was a 1988 928S4 which I loved. I had a lot of good times on these boards in the early 00's hanging with other 928 owners. Sold it to get a 2000 Boxster to try to get the wife involved, but it was a no-go. Got back in a 1992 968S and loved it too, but ...

that same awesomeness in one piece headlamps means that if something goes wrong in the assembly, you can look forward to paying $2K for one headlamp.
Porsche is smart, either way

Be ready for people to tell you to buy a Turbo or a GT3 [ ZOMG! ]; lots of that going 'round these days.
Drive both?
- 997 could be CPO'd; 996 cannot
- Both have the M96 (I think)
All I have quickly off the top of my head. I love my C4S, but have not driven a 997

You can do a search here but in summary the difference between the MKI and MKII are as follows:
- MKII has a 3.6 liter, 320 hp engine compared to a 3.4 296-300hp on the MKI
- MKII has turbo-style headlights
- MKII has a glove box
- MKII has slightly different front end and rear aerodynamic treatments
- Different suspensions and wheel/tire combinations (stiffer body as well)
I think ...

Leathermaster LeatherVital. Best conditioner I've used - by far. Used to use Lexol; have used many others, but LeatherVital is the king.
In terms of a cleaner... I haven't found a good one. Have tried a lot of the cleaners, too, including Leathermaster Strong Cleaner. None of them work very well.
I've become a huge fan of Mr. Clean Magic Eraser for cleaning plastic and vinyl. ...

Must drive like a new car, awesome! You'll have that baby forever.
That's good to hear about the stock IMS bearing. Half the folks will say "I told you so", and the other half will say "wow, you're so lucky to have had one of the good ones". Lol!
It might be bad form to ask, but if you can do it without passing out, may I ask how much the whole bill was? I'm almost afraid to.

well for what it's worth I think most factory Porsche wheels are not forged except the Turbo wheels....
They will probably be heavy but $500 for a set of 4 is a pretty good deal. I bet they are heavy but I haven't been able to find any used wheels for $500 so these might make some okay autocross wheels except for the weight...
Go for it and tell us how they perform (:
Ask them to ...

Well that seems weird..... I have PSS10's on my 99' race car revalved to match 700/900 lb. springs and the last thing I have is any type of 'porpoising'. I run the sway bars 1-off full soft up front, and 1-off full stiff in the rear with the shocks always in the middle. What does the indy mechanic who installed them have to say?
