Ted, Most years it's doable with the right equipment. It's an uneasy road to be on in the winter, so you'd better be very confident in your running gear. There are usually enough crazy hunters running up there during the early winter so that the road is passable, but I would check with someone local before you make the trek. If I'm home before you need to go, I'd be glad to run up there and take a look for you. RW...

City folk wanting to be away from the noise, and hustle and bustle of city life for the peace and quiet of the country, hoping to hear the howl of a wolf off in the distance, only to find out us people out here in the country have a different way of life than what these City folk read about in books and magazines. After his statement, in WA I would charge him (and buddies) with hunter harassment as it was done to stop the duckhunters not feed the birds.

Better hope the landowners where Hereduckyducky hunts doesn't read this. I couple pounds of corn spead out on the bank and it's all over. So, how far away from a baited field do you have to be? I know you can't hunt a baited field but can you sit out in the slough with some decoys and shoot away? You really aren't hunting the baited field, just the slough.

We usually don't see fog 2 days in a row, but guess what?? Today was another foggy day. I decided not to get the 4 girls out any earlier than necessary, so we set up about 8am. My daughter and her Fiance shot with us and my oldest grandaughter was also armed and ready as the first goose decided to commit to the 20 decoys we had out. The girls shot and only managed to rough up it's ...

I can't say that I have ever had Irish whiskey, but during the winter months I do enjoy a good Scotch whiskey over ice--I personally prefer the blended variety and lately have enjoyed The Famous Grouse....

However, I did manage to shoot a blonde mallard this past Sat. I've killed a trainload of mallards in my life, and this is the very first one of these I've ever seen. My son...
