Yup. We went out friday and the only thing we killed was my free time. Hunted a very productive marsh and saw 6 teal, 2 mallards, (all in a hurry to get somewhere else ASAP) and had a group of geese roosting up-creek that had NO interest in flying downstream in the warm / windy weather.

It would be nice to see a store that caters to the light-tackle angler. It is such an effective method of fishing the bay in the warmer months and most waterfowlers worth their salt have the skills to do this: utilizing tides, navigating shallows, push-poling, etc. I often have a tuff time finding a good selection what of I need in most stores: light saltwater spinning and baitcasting rods and ...

poor breeding year.....I believe what we've seen so far have been the bachlor groups and birds that had no young.
Could be wrong. Im sure yellerdawg can give a more accurate answer.
Gonna be alot of older trained eyes to hunt this year.
From my understanding strange white on a biggish bird is likely a resident goose.

I saw this on another website. Baiting is cheap these days I see. *dumps corn in pond*
Pintail Point is a posh resort in Queenstown on the Eastern Shore that boasts on its Web site of having "a wide variety of waterfowl species that congregate among various locations of our expansive properties."
That might be true, but a little wheat and fresh corn doesn't hurt the congregating....

Note: I really do intend to revise this and be able to link to it, for all the guys I hunt with, and other people I'd like to hunt with in the future. Any thoughts or comments you have, while dribbling turkey out of your face or wishing it wasn't nearly December and still 60 degrees outside....well I welcome those comments. This - when it's done - is meant to be a real guide to noobies and ...

They are a lovely collection of people. Today, in dire need of decoy bags, my wife and I ventured to Wally World in Elkton. I walked back to the hunting section, which is now full of everything blaze orange imaginable, I explored the two small isles ...
