One thing you can use is an IR Hot Mirror filter on the camera, it helps to reduce IR pollution in the image and is said to help cut down grain in low light __________________ Casey Schendel "Pick a job you love & you'll never work a day in your life" DIT Data Manager paying my dues to become a Cinematographer www.caseyschendel.com

Sandisk 16gb 60MB/s for $115
Published (2009-12-04 22:58:00)
Jarred said they tested them and the cards dropped frames. I've personally bought one of the 64GB 90MB/s to test for a couple other applications. First off it's incompatible with most anything I tried to plug it into. Second of all, it was "fast", at times, but the performance was very erratic. Due to compatibility issues and performance issues the card didn't work for my non-RED purposes either so I sent it...

that should be a slam dunk.
It's been a long, long time since we've had new media. I know Red is super busy with Epic and Scarlet, but is there anyone still testing for Red One purposes?

You can download Redcine-X without an account.
If you want an account to download the firmware for the camera may have to pay a fee to transfer the ownership and I think it also may require an inspection of the camera. Your best bet is to shoot an email to the bomb squad or to give RED a call.

I had the privilege with my job to field produce and dp, a directors round-table today. The directors talked about so many important things that go into making great films.
Tarantino was excited and eccentric , where as Jackson and Cameron were very down to earth. Also Jason Reitman, Kathryn Bigelow , Lee Daniels were there as well.
Peter had some good things to say about Red and him and ...
