wireless n and g pertains mostly to the signal strength over distance and amount of data that can be transferred. so it depends on what you plan on doing with the wireless capabilities of your router. it doesnt really have anything to do with wired connections such as the one to your modem.

Just as a heads up, I went last year. It was pretty much not worth it at all, the regular retailers had marked up their prices quite a bit, so unless you are going for the seminars I would suggest sticking to buying online.
