By the way, how irritating do you find Banta-Cain’s performance out there, jveezy? He is reported to be on close to the veteran minimum here now after getting paid in free agency. Some players are just made for certain systems and coaches I suppose, he has got consistent pressure for the Pats all year. What did you make of his time with you?

They'll bring back Damon for a year. Cashman didn't want to trade Javier in 2004 (part of the Johnson trade) but Georgie wanted the big name lefty, who was nearing the end. They should have acquired Johnson that summer and I do think he'd have pushed them past Boston. They got him about six months too late and by 2005 he was on the decline. I think Yankees fans are just thinking of that homerun in 2004 and not seeing the big...

If I was Jenson Button I would be spoilt for choice, a drive for the WCC team with potentially Mercedes backing next season or McLaren a team rich with history and seemingly a competitve car next season. Wherever he ends up its a decent place to be.

I'm also excited to see Blake Griffin transitions to the NBA, he reminds me of a young more athletic Carlos Boozer who has really done well in the NBA. I guess I think of him as a synergy of Boozer and Amare.

it looks very good... don't know why shonie carter won his fight though...all he did was stay on top of the other guy as much as possible.the other guy ( cant remember his name! ) took shonie down more times thanthe other way round.. he went for far more submissions than shonie did andhe struck shonie more ( see shonies battered face at the end? )If that's not enough to win... what is?
