Can only go off what Sky were saying because I was watching the Liverpool game myself, but they seemed to make out Lyon gave it a bloody good go yesterday. Nearly stole a draw at the end too Don't think they'd expect anything other than for Liverpool to rest certain players, but you'd hope professional pride would kick in

If you were going to do a European SuperLeague, you'd have to pick the biggest names and the best supported teams. That's not always the same as the best current teams - you'd just assume that the money of the Super League would mean the best players moved from the current form teams to the sleeping giants. You'd have to have the following for historical and fanbase reasons - Marseilles Ajax Benfica Liverpool Milan Bayern...

aye he certainly made an impact, could have won his side a penalty. He's a player who can make an impact but i think his temprement is seriously suspect as they kept banging on about a bust up with Deschamps and i'm pretty sure he left lyon after a fall out or another bust up...
