Don't know if Torrens is coming over this season, but she is a center if she does. Which is okay because you need to move Jones to 4 anyways. I don't think Tan White needs to be on our team. We will obviously also have either Appel or Charles. Not sure Ticha would be a good fit on the team because we have more pressing issues I believe. _________________ Namaste Anything successful is a series of mistakes. Sun STH

Thanks for sharing the article! I never knew Tully had experience in the real estate and home inprovement business. It appears that Tully and Rebekkah Brunson have one non-basketball thing in common: they both like to do fixer-upper work on homes and real estate "flipping". Nice work if you can get it. And the photo galleries accompanying the article is impressive! Tully has good taste. photo gallery:...

No, she doesn't factor into their long term plans. I remember reading on the minnesota lynx board a message posted by IRK that she had spoken to Peterson, and he didn't know if tasha would be there long term.In the WNBA Tasha does play PF a great deal but in college she played as a SF mostly. She is a natural SF.

Aw come on, that Hammon/Lawson backcourt would rock at the defensive end . Wonder where she will end up. Considering how much she loves to bomb away she'd fit right in on the Sun, and be close to ESPN headquarters as well...

I'm not too worried. They are both in debt because they continue to expand.
Now that they have both stopped expansion, I expect their debt to shrink considerably.

1. $$$
2. Maybe, but my opinion is that Orender is doing what she can to cast the W in a good light, even if one is inclined to dismiss anything she says/does as BS.

That seems odd because the wife is the new owner of Spartak and for sure is paying the bills.
Why wouldn't she return to Spartak? _________________ (shrrew)

I wouldn't put Candace Parker ahead of Cynthia Cooper, Sheryl Swoopes, Lisa Leslie, Diana Taurasi, Lauren Jackson, *Where is she, btw* Katie Smith, Tamika Catchings, and maybe not ahead of Ticha Penichero or Sue Bird..(I'm sure I've forgotton some)
Is she more talanted than a lot of those players, yes. But she's played 1 and a half seasons. _________________ TALENT

It would be awesome to have a team in the Bay Area, but the Warriors owner might make it tough for them to play in Oracle (charge them a lot of money, move them for stupid concerts and derbies).
I wonder about Haas Pavilion at Cal - great facility, decent access and a perfect size court for the W. Berkeley is just next door to Oakland.
