Um, there aren't 264 Division I football programs, unless you are counting non-FBS teams. FBS and FCS are both D-I

Thought there were some schools changing from D1 to D2, although financially I'm not sure what kind of savings that may generate.

Just gotta keep it up for a little bit longer next time. they looked pretty good, and mightve kept it even closer, but they looked a bit frustrated at the end (illustrated by evans' late technical). I'm worried bout how Hawaii will match up with the lady bucs tomorrow. We're gonna have to keep our jackrabbits in a lot. Btw if you're interested, and...

Every school is supposed to submit one and I think there is even a WWW site somewhere where you can look up every school. Of course, there is no one standard method for counting the money, so take them with a big grain of salt especially if you try to compare the numbers between...

It rare for a non-NBA player to take almost 60 shots (42 FG+17 FTs)!!!!!!!!!! And for her to shoot that many shots and still have more assists than TOs is impressive--even if it is against Michigan State. I'd like to see how she'd fare on a team with actual talent....

The categories that are tracked are FG%, 3pt%, FT%, REB, ASS, TO, STL, BLK, PF, pts. For each category, each team's average (in the case of the first three) or totals (for all the others) are calculated. Then, for each category, the teams are assigned a score of 1-6, six being the best. Each team's scores are added up for a total score to determine the leading team. This spreadsheet, updated daily, shows the whole thing. HTH....

The Spartans share the load well: 4 players in double-figures, and two more with 9 pts. The Cowgirls had 2 players in double figures.

Stanford looked every bit the #2 team tonight against a very good Gonzaga team. The Cardinal did not loor like a #2 team in their previous games but tonight simply overwhelmed Gonzaga. I do not think people are aware of ho good Kayla Pederson really is. Going into todays game she led the team with an 18.6 ppg and 9.2 rb and 13 of 31 from three pt range. She can and does play the 3, 4 or 5. ...

I guess Brittany Carter of Memphis now holds a share of the record for most points ever scored in a game at Bank of America Arena at Hec Edmunson Pavillion (...did I get it right ) ...AKA Hec-Ed.
The previous holder, now co-holder, of the record was Husky Hall-of-Famer Bob Houbregs who scored 49 against Idaho in 1953.

It looks like Shafir has worked on a weakness she had last year -- 3-point shooting. She only hit .236 from distance last year, but was 4 of 5 last night. I thought the lack of a 3-point shooter other than Jessica Williams kept the Rockets from going further than they did last year. Look out MAC if Shafir and Allie Clifton can give Toledo more outside shooting.
