Yeah, but they have a D-League from which to draw players when injuries occur. The
WNBA doesn't have anything close to resembling that kind of "filter system". Europe does not count.
The NBA is better prepared for shortened rosters than the WNBA, as they do leave the option open to signing a full 15 at any point in the season as opposed to mandating 13 or fewer all season long.
