>I don't know that Brett would know that anyway. Well there's no question what Brett did know FOR SURE. The fact that Russell and Russell alone by virtue of the final IC showdown cost Brett $1,000,000. Whereas the other Galus rightfully held Russell responsible for a CHANCE at a million, in Brett's case it was given.

Dreamz was a follower. He got asked to join alliances. Russell was a leader. He FORMED alliances. Russell found 3 idols with barely a clue. Dre found.............. nuttin Dreamz was a useless human being who ripped Yau Man of a truck. Russell only ripped himself of 1 million dollars. Good comparison. >

Russell was the acknowledged leader of Foa Foa. Even Mick and Jaison admit to this in their exit interviews on this site. He also won the IC the Foa's had to have or Brett would now be a millionaire. While he wasn't great at the other challenges, he certainly made an effort. He had one considerable weakness as a player. I'd agree that "obviously deserving" might have been better than "deserving." I...

That everyone should have been given a small protective dose of the RH19 virus before being subjected to the stomach-ejector that is the full-face spray of the RH20?

Russell is a bully. And a poor sport. People are sometimes going to tell him what he wants to hear just so he'll go away.

What would you do if you were John?

"I don't think Foa Foa acted like beggars in the first episode. Laura might have treated Russell like a beggar, telling him Galu had all the power but Russell never seemed to accept that interpretation." Really? The proof of the pudding is in the eating, as they say. Russell tried desperately to win some flippers, failed, explicitly told Natalie that he didn't think her ploy worked (not that it was her, necessarily, who...

Greatest Player Ever??

He was apparently a good leader, but anyone can appear to be a good leader when the going is good. When you never lose a single immunity challenge, of course things are going to seem rosy. I would also point out that he had to run the table on challenges. Had Koror lost any challenges, Gregg and Coby were planning to vote Tom out. They simply never got a chance because of how bad Ulong was. He benefited more than anyone else from Ulong's...

I agree with the sportsmanship angle, none of the jury members, with exception to Shambo, were happy they got voted off, in fact they were pissed off. Russel is wrong for his attitude of course, but had he of been a better sport of things, none of the votes nata-lie received would have been against russel and she wouldnt have won. Erik really did stir the pot up and make people consider the after game effect. Should they have all decided to...

LAST EDITED ON 12-25-09 AT 03:35 PM (EST) Happy holidays! There may be such sites out there. Don't know about "good." RTVW has always discouraged unauthorized viewing of copyrighted material, so to be a good site by that criterion it should be authorized to distribute the material.

I loved this merge episode, watching Russell's game implode was fascinating. He got lucky Alek went overboard even more. For clarity, Thailand, the faux merge episode wasn't an actual merge, the real merge occured two episodes later. Which episode are you talking about? By the time the real merge happened it was clear who was going to continue to get Pagonged, which ...

I'll save you some time... RussHell: 7 for Physical, 9.5 for Mental (loses half a point for forgetting to understand the players in it at the end), and 0 for Social. He gets a 10 for his alliance-building but a -10 for providing (i.e. sock-burning, water-dumping and no food gathering) and jury charisma so it is a wash in the end.

LAST EDITED ON 12-22-09 AT 03:02 AM (EST) If this truly means juries will now hold players accountable for their lies and betrayals, then this really is a great thing for Survivor. I would be all for that. I have my doubts about that though. I think there were some injured egos on the jury. I mean, how can Erik have his mind made up before FTC? He was only with the 3 ...

Judging by his post-game interviews, he's not capable of changing his game, mind, self-perception, and quite possibly his underwear. It'll be exactly the same strategy, which may potentially lead to exactly the same result. Fair? Fair? Heh.

I thought I remembered him telling people to go to CBS.com to apply at the end just like usual... I think it has been officially renewed through season 20, but they usually do it a couple of years at a time and it is due for the next renewal. http://www.cbs.com/casting / indicates they have casting calls set up for season 21.

LAST EDITED ON 12-19-09 AT 10:31 AM (EST) LAST EDITED ON 12-19-09 AT 10:16 AM (EST) 1) Russell - Don't know if he can win or not, but take away his aggressive, pro-active type of game play and there is no way four of the final five players are Foa-Foa. While I'll never claim he's a nice guy, to me he's already earned the million. 2) Jaison - Made a good point to ...

LAST EDITED ON 12-20-09 AT 10:46 AM (EST) Who would have guessed that the foa foa team would vote off Shambo like that. I realize they want to stay the foa foa 4 some but I thought they would have turned on Mick for sure. Natalie is a shrewd one too. She is skirt tailing on Russel and could possibly be the Brett of the Foa Foa tribe. She isnt leader, and she isnt the ...

Let me think. Jaison Mick Natalie Brett Shambo I can never figure out how the jury will vote. Some go for revenge against a final player; others vote who really played the game. If they vote for game play, I think every one of the jury would give it to Russell. Mick, Natalie & Jaison would really have to do some smart talking at the FTC to convince the jury they were ...

LAST EDITED ON 11-21-09 AT 03:53 AM (EST) Interesting premise, Jims. If I were John, I would NEVER had let myself get into that mess. Voting out a Foa Foa at the merge was the ONLY thing to do. Junior Varsity maybe but it's still better than Insane Asylum. That being said, once in the position John was in, I would have looked at things this way: - You NEVER draw rocks...
