There could be a couple things wrong: 1. You have a faulty cluster 2. There is some compatibility issue between your 97 and using a cluster from a 98-99 model 3. I'm sure there's more just cant think of 'em right now You could just take the bulb out...

Looks like my how-to for 95-03 will lead to my arrest or something huh? It's full of disclaimers and has a legitimate purpose: Gauge swapping to roll odometer to ACTUAL miles or replacing speedo motor/broke odometer rollers/etc...I can go on. (went to link it, thread was removed from here.) I don't see how it makes sense...we're installing a new gauge cluster. So we put in a new gauge cluster because our old speedometer stopped...

Quote: Posted by mtm I let it sit out but what do you mean by "mold it with your hands before you install it" I took my old one out, put it on top of the new one and pretty much beat it into the shape it should be. Mine was supposed to be pre molded but wasnt done that great. Im thinking its because I got a "Ultra-Plush" or something like that, supposed to have 80% more fibers or something like that.

What year Ranger and is it extended cab or regular cab do you have? Most people on here do Mustang Cobra seats and/or Exploder center consoles, either full length for manuals and/or shorties. Not sure about anything Honda fitting in there nor the idea of racing buckets. BTW, search works great at the top of the page man.
