Yeah youll notice a huge difference for sure, I can't wait to go 36s on this truck, lift and locker, 4.56s or 4.88s. I'll probably just end up doing 2" coils up front, 4in leafs, take my blocks out, shackle, and some bilsteins all around, and a bodylift. Im happy with these for the time being though

see you have the advantage of having the TTB and not the TB setup.. I wish i had the TTB setup. I guess i will just have to settle for the SAS or a coilover conversion

4" Superlift Suspension Kit...
Published (2009-11-29 15:08:00)
Oh alright, thanks. Sorry, i google it but always get confused who is sellng the entire kit with the rear lifts or just the lift. So if i can find the front kit somewhere new for less than a thousand, i should probably go for it?

I was under the impression that ORW have picked out a shock for stock suspension trucks...has the same travel as the taller shocks, but they have a shorter overall height.

lets say that one wanted to have coilovers on their non SL stock 4x4 suspension. is there a company that makes coilovers that are that small? if so, where? links?

Sweet, Thanks! Yeah, I went to the local off road shop, and they mentioned Superlift has gone MIA for ordering in Canada. They've been waiting on a couple of things from them for 4 months :S

it really should be the same coilover. the upper mount would just need to be higher. the superlift kit does not add travel, so on a stock truck verses a superlifted truck the amount of travel is the same. Run the same shock and just change the upper mount.

ORW is a site sponser that carries the kit....had a special a while back that ended up being an alright deal. It included the front shaft that you'll eventually need anyway(ticking timebomb...can go in 5k, can go at 30k). SuperLift Special Google it. Sorry....but it's the truth. Tons of retailers that list it. There's alot of price fluctuation depending on where you guy and ...

i would start off by doing what we call the 'prekey' mod.. theres lots of threads here on RF explaining it, but basically Ford changed the front end torsion key adjusters on 2008+ trucks...to make them sit lower... so if you throw in a set of torsion adjusters from a 98-2007 Ranger you should gain at the very least roughly 1.5" in the front.. read up on it!
