Just watched the last episode that aired. I was wondering why it was all Christmasy, but that cause its done until the new year which is a joke. I really dont see how they achieve to create tension by saying that Mark will kill Demitri with his gun then take it away in the same episode. Also its obvious that someone else will kill him with the gun and it wont be Mark. The way they changed the wedding to the funeral was a joke too, you can see...

I can't quite remember how I ended up renting this but I'm very glad it did. It's a North/South Korean war film! Except it's only really a war film in setting, as the violence is kept to a minimum and a 'Can't we all just get along' story is pursued instead. North Koreans, South Koreans and an American all end up in the small mountain town (Guess what it's called?) ...

They're dropped into Mirror universes and multiple universes on a few occasions. It's a nice cheat to break cannon when they want to so the fans can't get shitty at the writers.
Plus I feel that a lot of casual people may not get into Trek on the basis that it has too much backstory which they feel they have to watch.
Oh and the other casual fans won't get into it because it's a dorky ...

Eh, not really. I think the shows on FX are overrated. I wanted to love The Riches because of Eddie Izzard, but it turns out he's awful and the show stinks, and all it had going for it was Minnie Driver's absurdly great performance and that cute daughter.
This show has the same problems as all the other FX dramas, with the idiot camera assignments where they put shit in the scene IN FRONT ...

The way I see it, they can remake these movies till the sun shines out of their asses. They can retell stories as much as they want because they'll never take away the originals.
If anything at least we get to see some other interpertations of Kruger and Jason.
Likely they'll suck, but so what, let it suck, the more it sucks the more it will remind us to appreciate the originals.
