pleaseletmeon34, extremely informative posts!! I'll probably order the FD20 mounts since they are cheap and I think Kyosho America has them in stock. Still got to look a bit more into the flywheel/clutch setup because I plan to use a pullstart standard or SG crank engine. I should mention I have spacers for the engine mounts to raise the height for the pullstart clearance. Also, has anyone purchased the expensive 2 speed set new? Kyosho...

Have any of you ever got one of those aluminum optional parts available in some hong kong lhs? I saw a superten all in aluminum once on rcnitro.com and would like to get some parts....

Now here's a wierd thing. Kyosho themselves list (under parts for discontinued models) the following 2 speed for the Superten (#31602 Porsche GT1) KYOC 6179 - 39305 TWO SPD TRANS 1/10 4WD Optional Yet everyone else lists the 2 speed as KYOC 6162 - 39666-18H HUH ??? Any ideas?

what about the gas tank? will the clutchbell hit it? can you still offroad the car with this, or wil it ruin the tranny?
