Nice
My copy of Max8 crashed and lost its licence - the trial has just run out :P
I guess the GMT
importer for Max2010 will be available soon

Any chance of a Blender version?
I've looked everywhere but I can't find a way to import .gmt files to Blender...and I have no clue how to program one.

or if it is there at all

track bar definition contains a naming statement, 'name=track_bar' in a statement that might look like this -
// Track bar (heights will be changed with track bar adjustments)

I think only way to encrypt them is to contact ISI.
Send them an email to ask first, and I am sure after that all you have to do is send them the files you want
encrypted.

My guess is it's happening when you mirror an object. In Max select the object, go to the Utilities tab, find Reset XForm and click on Reset Selected. This will show how the object actually is. You'll want to convert back to editable poly after this.
When
mirroring objects the faces get flipped but it doesn't show in max until you reset xform. Selecting the faces and flipping them will fix...
