I agree with Thumps and hope that a new course of antibiotics and/or the use of a nebuliser to really get into the connected sinus spaces will do the trick once and for all. As Thumps said, do not despair, there are plenty more things to try and longer courses of treatment available i'm sure. I would follow up the repeat prescrip. for the nasal drops and perhaps ask about the use of a nebuliser and some mucolytic drugs such as bisolvon? I...

pretty lupin is quite right, & also that I always shake out the hay, (winnowing). What ever brand is incredibly dusty at the moment down here. Given that Bisc has had snuffles before, is moulting, & feels the cold, I'd suggest starting him on Echinacea if it's OK with your vet.

I would get him to a Vet. Eating is the last thing to stop, a distended abdomen and reduced faecal output are warning signs that always require prompt Veterinary attention. Once the Bun stops eating they are much 'iller' and prognosis is not so good.

Poor Teddy, it would be so much easier if we spoke bunny language, but his bdy language is a sure sign that something is not quite right isnt it. Hopefully the results will shed some light and you will be able to get to the bottom of things. Sending you both lots of hugs. xx

Back from vets again He said she has improved, but kind of knew she was a bit better as last night she was humping Beatrix when she saw I had a biscuit (she always humps when she see them ) I asked about Engemycin, but he said because it causes a reaction on dogs and cats they don't keep the injectable stuff in only tablets, he can get some in, but he's put her on ceporex to see how she goes with that. She's back in Monday...

It may just be that as he has had several bouts of health trouble recently his calorie intake hasn't been sufficient but I would have a chat with your vet about maybe having some blood tests done to check everything is working as it should, particularly with his recurring cystitis.
Is he weeing/drinking normally now?
Does he eat anything other than hay and herbs?

If you suspect bloat I would take bunny to the vet asap
(In the meantime at home you can give Infacol - simeticone (1ml) or Gripe water (1-2ml) and a gentle tummy rub and encourage bun to eat and hop around)

Hiya there are lots of useful websites out there to answer lots of questions, here are some I like to use.
Bunnies can get all sorts of infections much like humans really.
You need to ensure your bunny is vaccinated against Myxo and VHD as these are very nasty and potentially fatal diseases if caught.

Can you get someone to hold him whilst you take a better look. It is
probably just a broken nail which will drop off. But it'd be a good idea to
check that there is no sign of injury/infection to the actual toe. As he is
not limping or paying any attention to it further injury seems unlikely.
But it's best to err on the side of caution. Also, if the nail is at a
strange angle and still partially ...

No don't use the snugglesafe as she will still be dopey from the drugs.
A good blanket is a good idea, prepare an area that is small and comfortable for her, make sure it is clean. Block off any areas where she might jump, you don't want her to stretch very much yet.
Feed her on her usual food, give her a selection of everything she likes. It's important that she eats soon so give her ...

Did you adopt your bunny or have you had her since she was a baby? I met a bunny once who hated having his ears touched at all because his previous owners used to pick him up by the ears

With a lower Respiratory Tract infection there may be no nasal discharge etc, just the laboured breathing due to a reduced lung function.
Probably best to get her checked ASAP as any problem involving the lungs/heart can get very nasty very quickly
Sending vibes for her

IMO she needs to be re-examined by a Vet today
Why was she given a steroid (Laurabolin) ? These are generally contraindicated in Rabbits as steroids are immunosuppressive
Is she drinking ? Dehydration is a real concern.
Personally I'd call the Vet again and INSIST on your Rabbit being seen today
Good luck

Sorry to hear Teddy is off colour still. I think a good long examination by the vet is your best bet and hopefully they can get to the bottom of this. I don't really want to speculate, plus it would just be guesswork really. Just wanted to send lots and lots of vibes for gorgeous Teddy and hoping that he feels better soon, you must be very worried, and have both been through so much. Lots of ...

Hi, I am so sorry to hear about poor little Lee, bless him.
I hope to God that I never experience this with Jimby, he is my life line, so I completly understand how heartbroken you must be.
Is Lee an indoor or outdoor bun?
If outdoor I would suggest moving him inside where you can keep him warm, syringe feed him science recovery/critical care and also fluids (water or cooled peppermint/...

Someone with a lot of info will be along shortly but from what I know you have to be careful with the not eating/pooing thing.
However ... after Miffy's spay she was not back to 'normal' until the next morning.
Keep an eye tonight and good luck
