My theory on Loghain is that he was plotting some treachery and thought it'd be quick, easy, and painless. The Darkspawn would wipe out the Grey Wardens, Calian, and then they'd be done. Then he found out it was a real Blight. Suddenly, he realized how monumentally he'd screwed up and everything went down from there.

[360] Blood Bowl - just a warning
Published (2009-11-27 00:11:00)
Seems the 360 version of Blood Bowl allows no custom teams, allows no team progression in online matches, and features the same crappy AI the PC version has: http://www.cyanide-studio.com/forumB...=11021&start=0 So I'd suggest avoiding it. I was looking forward to it, but I didn't expect them to gimp it totally.

Its easy to use, and I can't think of any reason why it would be risky. I use it and Impulse for my digital distribution needs.

Silent Hill-esque games - Page 2...
Published (2009-11-27 00:43:00)
In Condemned 1 you play a cop and spend the game brutally murdering the homeless and drug addicts. Mostly using improvised weapons like pipes and wooden planks and sometimes you can knock them down and perform melee based execution like snapping their necks. It has some plot about the character being framed for murders and having to clear your name by catching the real serial killer.

I got started on this game after Christmas last year. I need to revisit it.
I was having a lot of fun with it, until I stumbled across a gang that
turned me into swiss cheese. I had messed up my saved game to, so that
doesn't help with the progression.

The links to gold sellers at least have been known for quite awhile now,
along with the theft of images for their advertisements.

Well, if you can ignore the total lack of guns and could accept a completely hand-to-hand approach (with exceptions for the occasional thrown or swung piece of scenery), God Hand is pretty awesome, IMO.
It's very challenging, but there's a lot of humour and a customizability. Basically an old-school beat 'em up, but viewed over-the-shoulder.

I'm actually pretty certain about Alistair and a pet theory.
Alistair's backstory is that he was the son of King Maric Theirin and a scullery maid from before Queen Rowan died. He was sent to Redcliffe to be kept under the eye of Arl Eamon, so Rowan didn't discover his existence. Once Alistair's mother died, Alistair joined the Chantry, being trained as a templar - a decision he regretted ...

Uhm, lessee..
Use on mage as dps/healer or pure healer to keep people alive, and one warrior as tank with the heaviest armor you got.
Without spoiling character names, the party I used most was Blood Mage/Spirit Healer mage (the pc), 2h sword warrior, Alistair as tank and rogue/bard as archer/buffer/locksmith. Blood Magic is really powerful once you get last 2 spells, but your character ...

Wow, I'm totally in a different world than you are here. So to avoid thread
crap all I say, is that Dragon Age on the PC handles better and that will
be it.

Could be wrong, but doesn't Guild Wars lack the traditional taunt mechanic?
Anything that can be learned there?

Oooh. I'm just replaying the first one in order to prep for this one.
I guess... the most important would be to know if there's multiple ways to an assassination (and not just one narrow tunnel leading to it), and if the side missions ( information gathering and what-not) are more relevant/fun this time around.
Yeah, hard to see those in the first few minutes, but still.

Well, that was a cool intro graphics show, with very impressive music indeed! Even though the Grey Wardens are pretty cliche right now, I gotta say their fight scene got the blood pumping.
Now I begin as a Level 1 noob, with no idea of what the world is like.
I generally like archers and talkers in these sorts of games, so it looks like rogue is the class for me. Elves give bonuses to ...

I would like to nominate Halls of Lightning as one of the more interesting.
The section just before Loken where you have loads of dwarves and pathing vyrkul demands that your group actually pays attention to where they are, especially with random charges and knockbacks. Extra pulls can easily spell death and the healer may have to pay attention as those whirlwinding dwarf mobs can kill ...
