Ep. 24: Bonding Memories Yes, Scar is hurt somewhere. In his pride for having his ass kicked so thoroughly. The Crazy Brigade's here. Greed's men i bet, dressed as soldiers. And WTF is that alchemical weapon? The old geezer does sport a funky mohawk but his chirpy "This is all God's will" is getting a tad old. Sidenote: Is there some meaning to the Oroboros in the OP video that has the flower bulbs 'grow...

Does anyone else think the brothers were too open in their 'you can't win'? They might just be taunting, but they might have been trying to provoke a reaction or trying to get him to give away something (probably not what he did reveal, granted).

I dunno. I think you need a certain amount of plot progression even in a character comedy. Although plot that only gets referenced once in a blue moon is kinda questionable. With...

I can think of no better movie for this than Collateral. It's a "warts and all" homage to Los Angeles. Heat is also pretty good for this.

Then why watch the rest? TV is often "dumb" when you sit down and really try and think about it, but most of us manage fine. There are some things I can't watch - Fringe, fr'ex, hits all my hate buttons for some reason. My wife loves it.
So I don't watch it. So, why bother?

I recommend the very good movie Lewis & Clark: Great Journey West from National Geographic .
My sorority sponsors a middle school, and we bought a bunch of documentaries including this one to show at assemblies. The kids responded really, really well to the short length (about an hour) and the great action shots.

I advise you get yourself a jar. Every time you want to punch Bella, put a quarter in the jar.
After you finish the book, use the jar money to purchase alcohol.

This is, in my opinion, one of the best magical girl animes ever. You're in for a real treat.
The nude transformation sequences didn't really bother me, though what *did* bother me a bit was that they did some of the classic tropes (the ferret is a boy, and she, of course, doesn't know he's anything but a magical ferret, so sees no problem changing with him in the room, though it's just in ...

I don't get to see it until 9 Pacific. But I'm already getting less than pleased with the message stones. Mostly because I can't imagine the military allowing their use without dramatic and very severe protocols.
