hmmm another question is also about duel ailerons. It says I can mount the servo horn to the control surface using just supplied phillips wood screws . I thought I had to use backer plates and a nut? This is the real reason i didnt hook them up in the first place.

The short answer is, we don't know. None of us have flown with you so we don't know your skill. Some guys can't handle an Ugly Stick after two years of flying, and some guys graduate to a Yak 54 two months after starting the hobby. Don't turn the engine over! Gently brush or pick away all the dirt you can see. Inspect the outside of the engine for cracks or other damage. I would take off the carb and soak it with water to get the remaining dirt out. I then would take rearplate off the crankcase and the head of the engine and flush with Varsol or WD-40 then inspect the inside of the engine. Only after you are sure the dirt ...
