Convert T2C Zigbee to 433
Published (2009-11-28 23:34:00)
So I cant get a zigby version of the T2C to play nicely in a system. A ton of interference and I have never had interference issues with RTI. I dont want to reprogram the entire system. We are not using 2way in this system. In fact I went with the zigbee version because it was in stock and the 433 was not. So....Is it possible to convert the file from zigbee to 433?

XP8 issues. Need Help
Published (2009-11-26 08:13:00)
Have you updated the firmware on all the devices listed above? There is a box that needs to be checked in the XP8 properties to enable IR passthru. Are the RK2's set to standalone? If so, and your IR passthru isn't checked, then nothing will work. Are you adding an XP8 to an already installed system or is this a new system as a whole?

I agree, you will be severely disappointed. If you are committed to updating the remote yourself, look into URC. If you want a kick-ass remote find a nearby RTI dealer or talk to Steven. It will cost more, but the good stuff always does.

T2 changing Out DVD Player Page?
Published (2009-11-22 09:50:00)
I'm stumped then. I have some old T2's kicking around, and managed to find a battery that works for a while. I turned on the program protection, thinking maybe that would "block" out page three, but it doesn't. It only requires a password before it will allow the computer connection. That said here is my advice: Given the fact that you can no longer get batteries for the T2, and all of it's other...

Shaded out. Yes with exception of the VCR, for some reason, it's like it lost all the VCR commands. This customer's system is all Denon the VCR is a sony SLV-M11/91HF. The old DVR was a Denon also. I check the sony with the original remote control it worked fine. so i guess the answer is the VCR page and buttons don't work. Thanks to everyone who takes the time to answer us little guys Thank You Mark

You could use the IR Search and Replace function, under the Edit menu on the top bar, that would let you replace all the existing IR codes with the new ones. You would have to edit the channel macros using the Channel Macro Wizard function also under the Edit menu. Pretty easy stuff, if you have the software, you should be able to accomplish this smoothly. Good Luck.

You can disable 2-way in the device properties, as well as uncheck the firmware upgrade and also make it RF one way. That should allow you to use the T2-C Zigbee as a 433 remote. Vincent
