WiFi not staying off

If wifi is enabled in SystemProperties, leaving an activity and returning to it (view Diag Log) will reenable wifi. Jumping between activities will do the same. The main reason that this option was put in place is to reconnect to a different access point prior to better roaming capabilities.

I don't really understand what you are asking - what is "evaring"? I also have an excel spreadsheet which generates my Daikin codes and have simply copy/pasted many of the resulting codes into the Pronto database.

This is what I ended up doing, now where is a guide so that I can upload these in to a database? Thanks for the suggestion, I honestly didn't realize it was that simple.

WiFi not staying off
Published (2009-11-14 13:40:00)
My experience with the 9800 and 9600 is that there is no need to do that. If there is no actual wi-fi activity taking place, the periodic radio activations (I use WEP so I am not sure about WPA) have little effect on the battery charge state. SlimPronto does do a TCPIP transmission every 2 seconds to maintain synchronization but it will go to sleep if the settings indicate that is allowed to, and not do TCPIP. When it wakes up though it does...

I've no idea about the simulator error that you are getting, but just ignore the actionlist error (one always gets them with this sort of thing and they mean nothing - IMO it is just a bug in the software). What happens when you download your configuration, with the schedule After, to the actual Pronto? Why not just put the requisite delay into the TVOn action list and move the jump into this...

'station' only gets assigned a value after the onConnect and onData callbacks are invoked, which is not immediately after the call to socket.connect(), so at the point where you are converting 'station' to an array, 'station' is not yet defined. After invoking "GetTuner()", the TCP socket will be connecting, but onConnect and onData will only get called later on, so GetTuner() cannot ...

The IR data must first be converted to pronto hex. Next, you can create a component in MyDatabase and then add functions. In each function, you'd paste the Pronto Hex code data. Another option is to get the IR data in CCF (Classic Pronto) format and then use PEPv1 to import the CCF. From there, you can migrate the codes into the PEPV1 MyDatabase and then drag them back onto the buttons ...

I have worked extensively with the vp50 and the VP50 PRO. What I stated above is correct. Also there are serious issues with the DVDO implementation of the protocol with regards to buffer under run and over run as they do not use handshaking logic except when loading firmware.

There is no difference between hard- and softkey (touchscreen) behaviour. However you may learn an IR command in different ways: You may learn it with the "repeated part" or without. If you learn the IR code by sending it (holding down the button) until the pronto confirms that it is learned successful, than the behaviour will be as with the original remote. If you learn it only by pressing ...

It means basically what it says it means. Some of your buttons have actions which refer to IR codes which existed at the time of their creation but which no longer exist in your configuration. The IR codes and buttons in question are the ones that are itemised. It you look at the action lists of these buttons, you will see that they say something like "Function [...] on [...] because the IR ...

Any script that runs on a 9600/9800 will also run on a 9400 (sans sound) - just needs resizing. On my 9400, I have Galaxy (by Lyndel McGee), Guess the Marsupial (by me) and a very rudimentary Chess program (adapted by me from the Internet), as well as Simon Says and Kazamm.
