On December 1, 2009 at 23:14, Daniel Tonks said... I mentioned in someone else's thread, there's always the option of upgrading Home Premium to Professional and getting virtual XP. I'm not sure this will work. I installed Virtual XP Mode in my Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit setup. I still can't my RC9500 (same problem!) seen within its USB environment. I've been pouring through the Virtualization forums of the various Win 7...

Thanks a lot. I will try that. I have only 3 functions that don't work. I will try to generate them. I did it. The codes function perfectly now. I generated all the commands because they are short and clean. Everything works now perfectly. Thanks a lot Jasonvp ! Last edited by Vesa Mäkelä on December 16, 2009 10:59.

Well you've come to the right place. This remote is awesome. I am sure it pales in comparison to the more modern remotes but I have had mine for about 5-6 years. You didn't answer my question but I am not mad...thanks for the bump to the top. We're all here to help.

Please note that: Even though this onscreen button has a Settings or Tools Special Action, the button still has to be held 2+ seconds to get into settings. AND... Each time you reload firmware in the unit, you will need to go into Settings and turn off Cursor Navigation.

Upgrade Path
Published (2009-12-16 09:17:00)
I am running a TSU7000 with RFX 6000 in my home theatre system. I use ProntoProEdit for programming. The system is going into its fifth year and I am trying to decide what to use as an eventual replacement. What are my upgrade choices, especially if I want to continue to use the existing programming? Is it time to consider other alternatives such as the Logitech 1100?

Macros on Marantz RC9500
Published (2009-12-16 12:53:00)
Hi, Is it possible to set the transmit time for a step in a macro? My new TV Pana TX_P50G10 requires the 'power on' button to be pressed and held for 1 second. In a macro, that step isn't sent for long enough to turn the tv on? Best wishes Jon

I shouldn't think a Logitech 1100 would suit as it is a completely different style of remote. I may have the touch screen but you are far more limited on the design and layout of the screen and buttons and it is programmed in a completely different way. If you don't program your own TSU7000 or put in your own graphics, you may find the 1100 fine but most Pronto users feel it is a backward ...

Change the Duration of the IR Code in the Button Properties by Double Clicking on the IR Code and a Window called ADD IR CODE will appear and change the DURATION to MINIMUM 1.5 or 2 to make sure. Cheers Jason

Not to worry....found it myself The latest Azur unit remotes utilise discrete on/off commands for multi room and custom install use. This means that the commands for on and off are on different frequencies, and will need to be learnt to seperate buttons on a learning remote control. To do this, press and hold down the power button on the remote control. After 12 seconds it will send the on ...
