I painted my decat pipe satin black with VHT paint from the local Automotive store. I went over the pipe with a scotchbrite first just to give the paint a key. It came out very well and as said, no need for primer

OEM isnt' always the best either. Anyone remember the Silver 2004 cowls? The paint didn't match....it's a darker silver.

motomummy or hard racing. how much for the full evo system with carbonfiber canisters and caps. I donot want the short cans. i want the original long cans. No BS. talk to your boss and see whats the lower price i can get. i was at each website. hrad racing looks hard to figure out but says call for best pricing. and whats the difference between evo and evo2

I had mine done one time from a stock material I picked out...took the guy 10 min...to install ...(does it all the time) sounds as if your buying something that is pre- molded .... cant be that hard to put staples in the back of it...if you dont feel comfortable take it to a apoulstery shop to install....

I don't think Bazzaz is street legal, because it cuts the spark completely, which causes unburned fuel to enter the exhaust and atmosphere. I'm sure some Bazzaz guys can verify that. Bazzaz works be monitoring engine rpm. A sudden increase in rpm = wheel spin = cut spark = less power to the wheel. I have always been a big fan of CRG Hind Sight Lane Split Bar End mirrors. We run them on our street bikes and can see right behind us and there is hardly any vibration in them at all

be careful of cheap chains. Two of my friends have had them snap (admitingly cos they wheelie all the time) but on both occasions the chain has gone straight through the engine case, cost a lot to put right.
