Spiegler 2 line setup on my 02 R1 which has basically the same routing & attachment points as an 07/08. Secret to a clean looking install and eliminating the OEM brake line brackets on the fender is the use of a billet brake line clamp under the nose. With the brake line clamp there is no contact with the fender or upper and no movement or binding of the lines

04-06 R1 PCIII work on 07-08 R1?
Published (2009-11-22 22:38:00)
the 04-05 and the 06 are interchangeable. dynojet has different part numbers only because the map inside is different. If you load the 06 map in the 04-05 pc3 then it becomes 100% an 04-05 pc3. Same is true with the 06-07 r6 pc3, and the 08 r6 pc3 (08 comes with o2 elim though). Same with the 04-09 GSXR 600/750 pc3's. All 100% the same except for hte map inside them. At the bottom of the black box of the pc3's dynojet puts a sticker...

04-06 R1 PCIII work on 07-08 R1? I ran some searches and really only confirmed that the 04-05 PCIII works on the 06 with the exception that the map is different. Outside of the base map, will the 04-06 PCIII still plug in to an 07-08 harness/ecu? I appreciate any help. __________________...

If you search for either of those brands on here you will get 3.2 million threads with good info and pictures. The short answer to your question is that the majority of people like the look and sound of the GYTR's on the 07-08's. They are well built slip ons (you cannot get a full system) and have sweet end caps. Termi's are notorious for fitting like crap. They do have a slightly ...

Depends on what you want.............are you just looking to look good or do you plan on tracking your bike? If you want to look good you can go with either but as an owner of Gilles rearsets I have to warn you that you should loctite "EVERY" single screw used in the construction of the rearsets. If you don't you'll be ordering replacement parts. Outside that for functionality I'd go with a set ...
