Experimenting with dual audio cards for surround production. Am having strange problems. #1 problem is no matter what my input level, there's always clipping. The rears are using onboard audio and it's clipping bad. That can usually mostly be repaired in Adobe Audition. The fronts are using an old Sound Blaster Live!. It seems to be compressing everything to -3.5dB. It's not clipping, it's ...

I have updated the SQ and QS scripts to run with Audition 3. Have also adjusted the small guides / walk-through I created before. Enjoy, Andreas

Hi guys this might seem like an odd request but anyway here goes.... I used to power my front speakers with a power amp and I could switch the front speakers off and then just listen to the rear speakers. Anyway on a lot of 5.1 music just listening to the rear channels is like listening to a different mix of the track. What I would really want to know is there any software out there that would ...

A friend recently bought a SoundBlaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio sound card and PowerDVD 6 deluxe for DVD-Audio playback. This is all installed on a Windows XP system. The problem is that this setup will not play the MLP track on any DVD-A disc with CPPM encryption. PowerDVD gives an error about being unable to update the CPPM key and only gives access to the DVD-V audio tracks. Non-encrypted DVD Audio...

Hi, I am new here and have had a quick look at the threads about decoding in Adobe Audition. My brain hurts! I don't have Audition but do have SF 9. Is it possible to do similar things in this app? Thanks
