Jon, This is one of the better Silverline releases. Discreet and some really catchy and rockin songs. The bass comes out solid and real. Well worth getting. I would give it 8.
At the bottom of the cover it states " Copyright 1999 CMC International Records. A division of
Sanctuary Group. Copyright 2002 5.1 Label Group L.L.C. Product of Silverline".
Liner notes state that it was recorded ...

1 of my favourites! The sound & mix is the same as that sampler disk (also have). 21 songs - Jane Monheit (Secret Love,
Sentimental Journey) & Lou Rawls are guest vocalists on 2 tracks each. It's a 24/48 recording & it sounds fantastic! I was never much into swing or big band but this definitely gets alot of play in my house. Al Schmitt produced, recorded & mixed. He does some good hi rez ...

Good news, thanks. This is I believe the 7th MonsterMusic Surround DVD-V with the first released in 2005. A release schedule of one or two titles a year is odd, but maybe there is a business plan that makes sense
in there somewhere.

Panasonic Demo Disc
This is a very early demo DVD-A from Panasonic, dated 2000 and appearing in the jewel boxed size case that the early WB titles were released in.
I am not sure if this disc pre-dated the
Joni Mitchell, Steely Dan, Miles Davis, and Pat Metheny DVD-A discs, but I would guess that it did as the verbiage at the bottom on the back says that these discs will appear in ...

I have it. It is typical for
Silverline/Sanctuary titles with old music, stunning faux surround from something other than a suitable source. I like it well enough but only because I like the music, the fidelity and faux surround is not good. The Silverline DVD-A's of decades old music licensed from Sanctuary are always like this as far as I know, Sanctuary never provided multitrack tapes or ...
