Oh my, I remember when that happened to Bonnie way back.  It was her Trans Am, but we had always put our vehicles under both of our names and she called Mecham Pontiac about getting the Macho T/A package and they were the only dealer authorized to do that kind of work and the car would still be under manufacturers warranty.  So they sent ME the appointment and Bonnie was furious!  She called and asked the service...

Joyce, if you have some extra money on that tree can you shake a little over my way? LOL!! The wind has blown all of ours off. I know. I don't think there is anything more humiliating than buying a car. It is awful. It makes a person feel so degraded.

Ah, the nightmare that is car buying!  I've done it twice this year and both times went to different lots to purchase my vehicles due to rude behavior.  I don't know what the deal is with car salesmen who seem to think that women shouldn't be out on their own to buy a vehicle.  It is very annoying.  When I test drove the first mini cooper at a dealership in Kansas City, the guy...

Nic - I dont blame you for being annoyed. what century are these salesman in.  Leslye - I would have told that salesman that my husband is in the trunk of the car that I am trading in. We are also looking for a new car.  Maybe 2 - isnt that great?  I am thinking of a lease for me - Nissan is offering the Sentra for $79 a month.  Toyota is offering the Camry for $139 and Honda the accord for $179. ...

It irritates me a lot when car salesmen overlook me.  When we lived in Illinois, Tim was on a trip and told me to go and buy the Tahoe that I wanted.  So, off I went to the closest dealership.  I went in and told the man what I wanted and that I was there to buy a car today.  He looked me right in the face and asked where was my husband.  I told him it didn't matter where he was because I...

Wow, Nicole, that is very rude of Honda to not acknowledge you, especially since you were the one to write the email and put your name in the closing.  I'd threaten to take my business elsewhere if they can't acknowledge you are part of the buying team.

good for you Nicole! Yes that irritates me as well!! HELLO!!! the car will be MINE! I hope they do some major butt kissing and if you go with them, they should give you a nice deal :)        Honestly, I hate car shopping. I just got a new van a few months back and I absolutely HATE it.  But I was so tired of looking that I just told my husband to go get it. Ugh.    I...

don't you just love customer service representatives? It's like they know you are being inconvenienced and do it on purpose... sorry you had to deal with it, especially so early in the morning. Let's hope they get the reship right.

I'm sorry to hear this. You should really have them file a complaint with your State Attorney General's Office and with the FTC ( www.ftc.gov ). The states and the FTC are looking at companies who are scamming people via these loan modifications that they aren't doing. I know that the FTC can't intervene on their behalf, and probably the state can't, but you just never know who many ...

You are right Leslye. The only people I know who have had breast cancer were younger than 50. One friend was in her late 20's!! One thing they were talking about was, with these recommendations insurance companies may refuse to pay for women to have them earlier than 50 and may restrict them to every 2 years as well. Makes you wonder who funded this study. An underwriter/actuary had ...

and it will cost us trillions of dollars. So our children and our childrens, children will be paying for it. There is certainly something better than this. And there is what?...over 2000 pages to this bill? Oh for heaven's sakes. I am voting these people right out of office. They can't see the forest for the trees. And Obama promised that it would NOT pay for illegals well guess what, ...
