well at least you have an answer. I agree with Mary and I have very good vibes for this going extremely well. I am sending way more than 1000 prayers for you and Makayla.      I also agree that it should be done asap. What is the recovery instructions...does she have to keep very quiet or ?

Well, Makayla had a bad night again last night - slept maybe an hour at a time.  We went to her regular vet this a.m. first thing to have him take a peek and just keep him in the loop.  Then picked up her records and xrays and went to the holistic vet for a consult and acupuncture.  The holistic vet took new xrays of her back, but was unable to see anything clearly on the xrays to confirm whether it was disc...

Rachel, Since her latest problem has come on quickly, maybe she did blow a disk.  I know I was leading you into the direction of not going to a neurologist, but maybe her problem is not degenerative and would have a better chance of being fixed.  I'm sorry to confuse you even more.  I hope you get some answers today and the poor thing gets some relief. 

You described it just right Rachel. It was a long day but you did just fine. As I told you I dont have a bad feel for this procedure at all and I know she will do fine. Call me tomarrow after talking to the hottie M

OUCH Precious baby girl!! Sending some speedy healing vibes to Elly.  Some kisses too!! I am so happy she is much better!! I can't get her out of my mind!! She is such a love!! And am very happy that you are her mommy!! Because if she wasn't going to you, she surely would not have left my arms that day.

Ok, so after all the debate about having Hank’s FHO surgery done on Friday the 13th, I decided to schedule it and called last week and made the appt. for this coming Friday. . Monday morning my vet calls me to tell me we need to reschedule it…..oh for cripes sakes!!!! He is going to be out of town Friday afternoon for the weekend and doesn’t want to do that major of a surgery and leave town. He wants to be available if I need him for...

Oh Rachel I have been watching this board all day for an update an was getting worried sick. At least now you know and can deal with it and get her fixed. I will say 2000 prayers for you both!! Give her a big kiss from Aunty Kathy and do please let us know when she goes in for surgery. We will wrap that sweet girl in the special purple blankie.

Owie!!! Her poor tummy! Oh, but to know those ugly tumors are gone and she is doing better and still loving her mommy, is the best news ever. She is such a special, special little girl!
