That stinks.
Are you comfortable with letting him do it again? I hope she heals well the second time!

Now Mary, if you haven't heard of it, the odds of any of us knowing anything about it are pretty slim.... But I have to say that is a new one for me too.... Poop yes, pee...nope. I know Odin will lick pee after one of the girls goes outside, but he's just being freaky.... Sounds like she is trying to be overly tidy or it's something she used to do in the cage to keep from ...

I've only dealt with a hot spot one time, and that was when we first moved to TN. Three days in our new house, Chyna got one on the top of her head. I was thinking she could have been bitten by a spider. Hers got quite large then another area broke out, but no infection. A girl just posted on PV about her pug in Hawaii.
The hot spot got infected and was really horrible looking. ...

Chance had this done and yes he had to be put under as the vet will need to get to the core of the cyst to get it out otherwise it will

Kathy, there's really no change - for good or bad. She hasn't had the
muscle spasms anymore, but her walking is still pretty bad. She's very weak in her back end. She tends to fall over more, just from the weakness in her back legs. She had been on Derramaxx daily until Thursday. So she's currently not on any meds. Oh and she still does have the sporadic lack of bowel control. So...

try distracting her as soon as she starts after it with something she cant resist. Some pugs can develope obsessive disorders with things like that so the best thing is to show her that there are much more fun things to do. If that dosent help you should probably talk to the vet to besure its nothing medical and if necessary there is medication to try. Good luck! M

Dawn does work and most people that use frontline and a few others don't seem to work this year as their pets have gotten fleas and ticks if you look online there are
home remedies and things you can do as that is what they are doing.
