If i notice my stick is going out and i have to puff on it a few more times to getting going again, I wait for it too cool a bit, then purge afterwards cos it tastes like crap if you gotta puff hard on it. seems to work for me.

Purging is one those rituals that really depends on experience. If your cigar is going south on taste purging is a good idea. I only do a half exhale when I do purge so I'm it's not like blowing out a candle on a birthday cake kind of thing. Some cigars don't need it while I have had some that needed it almost half a dozen times to keep it in line. Let experience be your best teacher and if the cigar is smoking good don't...

Just wondering what everybody's experience is with nausea or vomiting/diarrhea after smoking. I've never had very serious problems with this, but yesterday I had to lie down due to nausea. Turns out that wasn't enough as my body went into a full gastro purge lasting through the night. Terrible experience. I can't help but think it was food poisoning, and the cigar just got it started.

Hi everyone,
I have been having a terrible problem lately with ALL of my cigars. For some reason, every single one is tunneling and/or not staying lit. After about 1/4 to 1/2 an inch after lighting a cigar the wrapper goes out and the filler continues burning for a little bit, only to eventually be drowned by the unlit wrapper. My humidor is at 70% humidity and I have tested my digital ...

So I was on Vacation recently and I was outside enjoying my Stogie. I was in the tropics and before long I noticed I was getting bitten. This was mild in comparison to some of the night attacks I get in summer, but as a pre caution I put on socks pants long sleve etc.
So I bought some Off the next day, tangerine scent as it were and applied as I would normally.
One problem , my ...

I have about 15 cigars that are stored w/o the cello wraps in a tupperware humidor, that has a cedar tray.
Awhile back, these cigars were stored in a wooden humidor, small type. After awhile, I realized that the humidor was not holding humidity, it went to the mid to lower 50%. It was here for about two or three weeks, as i was trying to be patient. I really have no idea how long it was ...

Hey everybody,
I'm planning on spending the summer in Italy and England (I know, life really sucks for me, right?). I'll be attending with a friend of mine, who, like me, is very into cigars.
My question is this: are there any things to be careful about regarding traveling internationally with cigars? At this point, I only own one CC, and there is no way that I'd be bringing that with ...

How many of you out there like a specific cigar but only in a certain size?
I know this has to have been discussed before but I must be keying in the wrong words for the search function.
For example, I like the RP Olde World Reserve maduro in the torpedo size but don't really care for the toro. Not sure why. Another example (out of many) I like the Padron 1964 corona but don't care for the...

Anyone tried the Double Happiness. Double Happiness - Cigars International
I really dont grasp the concept of smoking the cigar even if you cut it in half.
The way a normal cigar is rolled is the tip of the leaf is always at the foot. This is done that way because the flavor is supposed to intensify as you get closer to the stem.
I am curious as to how they roll these if they use two ...

Ok plume/bloom is dust particles attaching itself to the oils the arise
from the cigar. Here is my question, is it possible for a cigar to be in
cello and still develop bloom? Where would the dust particles come from for
it to develop? During the packaging phase?
