There are reports that a family member said to AOL FanHouse 'We don't think he's going to make it'. Sad stuff, I hope he manages to pull through despite the severity of the situation.

That argument reminds me of Herm Edwards telling someone on the radio the other day that the Chiefs were five players away from being a contender. The radio guys said "Yeah, they're a Derrick Thomas, a Jerry Rice, etc." away from being contenders. I don't know that I buy in on the Quinn thing yet. They almost definitely need a new running back and wide receiver like Foos said. And honestly, apart form Shaun Rogers,...

Percy Harvin missed practice again today because his migraines just won't go away. He went to a specialist just to make sure that nothing serious is causing the migraines this time. I can't imagine being in that much pain for 2 straight weeks, and this happens to him a lot.

You know I was looking through the schedule for this weeks games and I STILL don't understand the Viking/Panthers game being on NBC. Sure, The Undefeateds are on Thursday and Saturday this week. And Sure, the Packers/Steelers and Cincy/Chargers games were protected. But there was still one much better opption out there: Titans vs Dolphins. Two teams on the verge of playoff elimination that have played quality football lately. I understand...

I'm intrigued with the picks of Shaughnessy and Murphy. I think both players have big upside and can contribute during their rookie campaigns. Murphy should be used as slot WR and judging by his play at Florida he will be great in space. The Raiders have a solid running game but I'm still not so sure about Russell. The best thing for the Raiders is to build around the running game like ...

Quote: I agree with your assessment there, Raji can be a 0 or 5 technique in the scheme because of his size and athleticism. It'd be pointless to restrict the most versatile lineman we have IMO, so move him around to create match up problems and keep the O-line guessing. When they move to 4-3 fronts as well, the line has a myriad of possibilities. On third and longs, ...

It's truly amazing how the first 6 weeks of football, there was all this huge talk about how the space between the super good teams and the decent teams was huge. Now the decent teams could take away a wild card spot and possibly beat the super good teams. Simply because the super good teams are sucking! I just can't wait to see how the steelers handle the little run they have going ...
